Clarissa discovered her passion at a young age. As she grew older she realized that fashion and makeup was not just her passion; it was a form of art and she had a natural talent for it. She decided to strengthen her skills and knowledge by attending the Paul Mitchell School in Costa Mesa. She also attended Orange Coast College where she studied the fine art of fashion photography. Her training includes Paul Mitchell Advanced Cutting and Coloring, Paul Mitchell Advanced Makeup Training, MAC Masters makeup classes, Goldwell and Pureology Product Knowledge classes, Kevyn Aucoin Makeup Masters under Sharon Gault, and a Photography Certificate from OCC. Clarissa has worked with LA Fashion Week, Billabong’s Design for Humanity Runway Show, traveled with Audi’s International Car Show, and has worked extensively with dream weddings. She spent many years studying and working for M.A.C makeup where she refined her skills in beauty and high fashion makeup artistry. After styling in southern California for many years she decided to move to the big apple to further extend her knowledge and better her skill for the art of hair and makeup With a love for culture, language and fashions around the world, Clarissa is most inspired when she is traveling. When she travels she is inspired by the scenery, music and color around her. She loves to take as many photographs as she can and she turns to these images and experiences for inspiration. |
